It can be a disaster when a maid of honor or bridesmaid backs out of your wedding. It can be even harder when you have already bought something monagrammed for one of those attendants. Let me tell you how to fix it.
So your Maid of Honor or Bridesmaid backed out? What do you do now? Well you let yourself be angry for ONE day. If it is less than a week before your wedding like mine then not even that!!
Rant and Rave to your best friends and everyone who knows this person. Hey..they deserve it. Its your wedding day. In all seriousness just say to yourself "I will be upset when the wedding is over." This is suppose to be a joyful time. Enjoy it.
Get over the mess and prepare for clean up. Try to find someone to stand in. If that is impossible just move on. Weddings do not have to be a perfect number of bridesmaids or groomsmen.
If you can not find someone to stand in. Call all of your vendors to adjust. Things will need to be changed. Your florist might be able to change that extra bouquet for an extra arrangement you wanted anyway. There is no reason to waste flowers!
Let your ceremony site know that there will be one less person walking or participating. Rearrange your seating at the reception!
Smile!! Girl it is your day!! Once it is over, the love and joy of your wedding will overshadow anything any girl has ever done to you.
